Team Science Series
What Is Team Science?
Team Science is a collaborative approach to research connecting experts of different disciplines, backgrounds, and perspectives to approach research problems with a more comprehensive understanding of complex issues. Desired results are more innovative, impactful, and sustainable research outcomes. The new Team Science Series will offer events that increase faculty members engagement across disciplines and grow capacity for interdisciplinary collaborative teams. Events will foster engagement of the AU research community, building connections internally and externally.

Spring 2025 Topic - Stress Science
Auburn researchers study environmental, biological, psychological, and social stress from the molecular level to the community level in plants, animals, and humans. Across disciplines, we apply complementary approaches to conceptualize and measure stress and stress responses, and to understand the effects and mechanisms of stress and stress responses. The stress science team science event is a forum for developing interdisciplinary collaborations that advance stress research, enhance stress education, and strengthen stress management efforts on campus and in the community.
Save the Date: April 8, 2025 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
