External Engagement & Support
The Office of External Engagement and Support (EES) operates under the direction of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development and serves to facilitate relationships with private and public sector partners, as well as those with philanthropic interests in the research enterprise. Activities include coordination and facilitation of campus visits for partners, potential partners and donors; coordination and management of the Research Advisory Board, promotion and support for entrepreneurial activity among researchers; multi-level support for the strategic interdisciplinary research initiatives; liaison to economic development agencies/organizations within the state and beyond; marketing and communication activity related to Auburn Research and Economic Development; as well as, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship of philanthropic contributions to the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Economic Development. The mission of the Office of External Engagement and Support is to provide support for Auburn innovation and industry relations, and in so doing, provide support for the economy of our state and region.
