Introduction to Sponsored Projects Administration (UR100C)
This class explains the basics of sponsored projects administration at Auburn University including organizational structure and the roles and responsibilities of the Offices of Sponsored Programs, Contracts and Grants Accounting and other stakeholders in the process. Additional topics discussed include: proposal preparation and submission; the sponsored projects budgeting process; terms and conditions of contracts and grants; federal regulations and University financial policies and procedures governing the use of extramural funds to include allowable costs, effort reporting, expenditure transfers, cost sharing, financial reporting, and common terms. This class is a pre-requisite for the COMPASS certification course
