Laser Safety Training

The Laser Safety Program applies to work with Class 3B and Class 4 sources. Individuals who work with, or in close proximity to these laser sources should take the initial laser safety training. This training will be offered online and covers general laser safety principles and the University's laser safety requirements. After which, specific hands on training delivered by the laser's principal investigator should be completed. Principal investigators are responsible for assuring that initial and any refresher training is received by laser users reporting to them.
