SPARK a Change Book and School Supplies Drive
Auburn University’s Chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society held a Valentine’s Day themed Book and School Supplies Drive on Haley Concourse on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We asked all individuals to help us make a difference in others' lives by donating any books and school supplies to help those in need. All collections will be donated to The Boys and Girls Club. This event was a part of Golden Key’s “SPARK a Change” Initiative, which aims at impacting and improving the lives of at-risk youth through literacy, education and real-world preparedness. Anyone who donated items received a Valentine’s goodie bag. Our chapter had great success with this initiative and we hope to hold a donation event on-site at The Boys and Girls Club so that we can hand out the donations in person! Thank you to everyone who donated supplies, money, and their time!
