2023 Instructional Assistant/Instructional Assistant Coordinator Position Announcement
In partnership with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services Blind and Low-Vision Services, Auburn University hosted its first College Quest college prep program in June 2018. The two-week on-campus residential program hosts a dozen students from throughout Alabama. The core of the program's curriculum focuses on six disciplines: independent living, orientation and mobility, assistive technology, team building, student advisement, and vocational rehabilitation. Students also receive two hours of college credit upon passing the course "Special Topics in College Student Development." College Quest is supported by Auburn University, Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB), and Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT).
