The mission of the Biological Safety Program is to ensure that people working with biological agents on Auburn University’s campus are properly trained, have submitted the necessary research registration forms, have the appropriate safety equipment, and have an on-campus resource for any biosafety concerns. Biological Safety Cabinets
Biosafety training is required for faculty, staff and students that work with biological agents, including, bacteria, viruses, and rDNA. The training can be completed online or by contacting the Biological Safety Officer to set up a lecture style training session.
