Laurie Harris received a baccalaureate degree in nursing from Auburn University and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has over 6 years of nursing experience primarily in Women’s Health and Obstetrical nursing. Laurie joined the Auburn University faculty in 2010 as a clinical associate. Laurie was hired full time in the Assistant Clinical Professor role to the School of Nursing in Spring 2014. She primarily teaches in the junior level courses, including Fundamentals/ Health Assessment and Childbearing Family and Reproductive Health. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society.
