Simulation Operations
Leora Wright has served as the Auburn University College of Nursing IT Specialist since 2013. As she worked to support faculty, staff, and the simulation team, she found a passion for simulation technology. In 2018, she became AUCON’s first Simulation Operations Specialist, playing a vital role in the growth of the simulation program over the past four years. Her responsibilities include the installation, maintenance, and general operation of all high, medium, and low fidelity simulation equipment, audio-visual equipment, and computers used in the EAGLES Center. She became a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) in 2021 and is an active member of SSH and SimGHOSTS. Leora uses her creativity and knowledge of simulation technology and best practice to develop innovative strategies to enhance student learning.
