Chin-Yen Lin

Assistant Professor
Dr. Lin received her PhD in Nursing from the University of Kentucky and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing, Research and Interventions for Cardiovascular Health. During her post-doctoral training, she managed research initiatives and delivered interventions to patients and caregivers affected by heart diseases. Her area of research focuses on symptom management, self-care, cognitive impairment, and cardiovascular outcomes in patients with heart failure. Recently, she worked on a research project to determine brain activity using functional magnetic resonance imaging to explore the role of the insula and its associated brain regions in relation to symptom perception and care-seeking decision-making among patients with heart failure.
