Carlie Hunt
Assistant Clinical Professor
Carlie Hunt received her BSN degree from Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in 2015 and her MSN Nurse Educator from Auburn University College of Nursing (AUCON) in 2022. She has worked in the adult inpatient setting the past 8 years, with experience in cardiovascular surgery, medical-surgical, and stroke care at Emory University Hospital (Atlanta, GA) and Baptist Medical Center (Montgomery, AL).
Carlie has 5 years of teaching experience in various roles in the classroom, clinical, lab, and simulation settings. She is passionate about helping students understand and apply classroom knowledge to the clinical setting. Carlie joined AUCON as full-time faculty in July of 2024. Her duties include teaching in the Foundations of Professional Nursing, Clinical Judgment I, and Health Assessment courses, serving on the Undergraduate Evaluation Committee and the University Graduation Committee. She is thrilled to bring her passion for teaching and clinical experience to AUCON!
