The Southeastern Conference Nursing Deans Council recently presented a professional development workshop on WORK-LIFE BALANCE. Dr. Joy DeBellis, assistant clinical professor at AUCON and a certified professional of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, served as one of three panelists on the session. "Work-life balance can be a challenge in any setting, particularly academia. This panel discussion defined what HEALTHY work-life balance looks like, teaching steps in how to establish healthy boundaries with family and colleagues, how to let go of perfectionism and establish your personal career/goal alignment, all while making time for healthy lifestyle practices."

This program provided 1.0 contact hours through the University of Tennessee, College of Nursing. The specific criteria for awarding contact hours for this include attending the live webinar/watching the recording in its entirety and completing the post-event evaluation.
