Dr. Yordy joined the Auburn Faculty in 2016.  She graduated with her DNP as an adult gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist.  Dr. Yordy has over 12 years of experience.  Following the graduation of her Masters of Nursing in education, she worked at East Alabama Medical Center (EAMC) in Professional Practice and Development from 2006-2016.  Additionally, Dr. Yordy has worked on various surgical units at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile AL and EAMC in Opelika, AL, and as a clinical associate for the University of South Alabama Community/Mental Health Department.  She is ANCC Board Certified in Nursing Professional Development and Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist.  She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
