Andrea Lee Smith
Assistant Clinical Professor
Andrea earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Fort Hays State University (Hays, KS) in 2006 and her Masters in Nursing Education in 2018 from Columbus State University (Columbus, GA). Her nursing background includes medical-surgical, telemetry and cardiology. Andrea joined the College of Nursing as a clinical associate in 2016 and worked at Piedmont Columbus Regional as the Clinical Coordinator for the cardiovascular catheterization lab and as an Education Coordinator for Professional Development. Andrea joined Auburn College of Nursing as full time faculty in August of 2019. Her duties include teaching in the medical-surgical course, chair of the clinical committee, member of the Diversity & Inclusion committee, and the Dean's Advisory Board.
