Kathy McAdory

Assistant Clinical Professor
Kathy McAdory joined the faculty of AUCON in February 2024 and her teaching focus is community and population health nursing. She earned her ADN from Southern Union State Community College in 2013, BSN from Auburn University at Montgomery through the RN-BSN program in 2016, and MSN in Nursing Education from Auburn University in 2020. Kathy's nursing background includes intensive care, acute dialysis, a travel nursing journey throughout the COVID-19 pandemic across the Southeast in multiple critical care settings, and serving as the nurse administrator for Auburn City Schools. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, the Association of Community Health Nursing Educators, and the National Association of School Nurses. Her passion for community health and improvement of health literacy are foundational to her scholarship and outreach efforts.
