Amy Pridemore

Assistant Clinical Professor
Dr. Amy Pridemore joined the Auburn College of Nursing faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor in January of 2023. She received her BSN from the University of South Alabama in 2009 and served as a nurse in the United States Navy for 12 years resigning at the rank of Lieutenant Commander. As a Navy Nurse, Amy served clinically in critical care and medical surgical settings. Administratively, Amy served in the roles of department head, nursing supervisor, and as a chief operations officer of an outpatient clinic. Amy is a graduate of Auburn's Doctor of Nursing Practice program and Dual-MSN nurse educator/nurse practitioner program. Currently, Amy serves part-time as a rural health nurse practitioner at Grove Hill Healthcare and teaches full-time in the family nurse practitioner program.
