Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), and includes a series of events throughout the month, including the Red Flag Campaign (informs about red flags in relationships), These Hands Don't Hurt Campaign (a 3-day interactive event where participants are invited to leave a hand print on a canvas as a visual pledge not to use their hands to hurt others), The Clothesline Project (a 2-day event during which individuals affected by violence and sexual assault are encouraged to express themselves through decorated t-shirts which are displayed in front of Cater Hall), and Take Back the Night march and rally (featuring a candlelight vigil and speakers). E-mail Eric Smith at ecs0012@auburn.edu or Rachel Dawkins dawkird@auburn.edu to learn more or to get involved.
