Auburn Airwaves FAQ

·General Information

Established in 2012, Auburn Airwaves is UPC’s annual spring concert at Auburn University. Past lineups include The Avett Brothers, B.o.B, The Neighbourhood, Train, Hot Chelle Rae, Green River Ordinance, NeedtoBreathe, Young the Giant, and Ben Rector.

Auburn Airwaves will be held at The Corner Block Party on April 18, 2015 featuring Kesha, Nelly, and Nick Jonas. The Corner Block Party will begin with the welcoming of the new Auburn Oaks at 5:00 pm after the A-Day spring football game, rain or shine.


Auburn Airwaves is presented in partnership with Auburn University, Auburn Athletics, the City of Auburn, Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau, Office of Development, and the Office of Alumni Affairs.


Auburn Airwaves is sponsored by Eagles West Apartments, Stamp, Kinnucans, Zoe’s Kitchen, BBVA Compass, Eagles South Apartments, J&M’s Bookstore, Eagle’s Reserve Apartments, Chick-Fil-A, and Trance Illumination.

This is a non-ticketed event that is free and open to the public. Standing room only.


Toomer’s Corner, Downtown Auburn. The Pep Rally and Tree Dedication ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. The Auburn Airwaves portion of the event will begin at 6:00pm


Public restrooms will be located in the Tiger Rags parking lot on South Gay street.


AUPD, private security, and event staff will be on site at the event.


Media requests should be submitted to the University Program Council no later than one (1) week prior to the event. Media request forms are available on the UPC website.

Comedy on the Plains 2015 featuring Nick Offerman Info and Public Tickets


UPC presents Comedy on the Plains featuring Nick Offerman on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the Student Act.

Current Auburn University students get FREE tickets by clicking on the "Events and Tickets" tab at the top right of the webpage.  DO NOT PAY FOR THE TICKETS.  There are no refunds.


UPC: Comedy on the Plains featuring Nick Offerman public tickets can be purchased online beginning March 17, 2015 and tickets will be available for pick-up at the Auburn Student Act.

Q: Do I need a ticket for the event?

A: Yes, this is a ticketed event. Auburn students can reserve their FREE ticket on auburn.edu/upc


Q: Does the picture on the Auburn Ignited card need to match the individual using the ID?

A: Yes, we will be checking at the door.


Q: Will my ticket go to my Tiger Card or my Ignited Card?

A: Ignited card


Q: Can I still come to the event if I don’t attend Auburn?

A: Yes. Public tickets will be sold on auburn.edu/upc for $20 each.


Q: Where is the Old Student Act?

A: The Old Student Act is located directly behind the Martin Aquatics Center, which is located directly behind the Coliseum. 


Q: What time do the doors open?

A: The doors will open at 6 p.m.


Q: What time does the event start?

A:  The event will start at 7 p.m.


Q: Will there be a meet and greet after the show?

A: No, there will be no meet and greet.


Q: Is photography permitted?

A: No. You will be asked to leave the event if you are seen taking photos/ Snapchatting/ Instagramming/ videotaping the talent.
