Tailgating Tips: Know Your Limit


TAILGATING TIPS: Know your limit.

  1. Set a limit.  Nobody wants to go overboard and miss the game.
  2. Do not chug.  Your body can only process one drink per hour.
  3. Stay hydrated!  Drink water between alcoholic drinks.
  4. Plan ahead.  Decide how you will get home before heading to the stadium.
  5. Have fun.  Be responsible and keep an eye on family and friends.

Additional Tips

  •  Eat food while you drink.  There will be plenty of good tailgate food around, take advantage.
  •  Accept a drink only when you want one.  It is your choice to drink or to not drink.
  •  Cultivate your taste.  Choose quality over quantity. 
  •  Beware of unfamiliar drinks.  If you are unfamiliar with it,  you will not know how it will affect  you.  Stick to what you know.
  •  Respect the choice of those who choose not to drink.
