#BeWell Learning Community
The #BeWell Learning Community began in the fall of 2012 and is designed to give participants the opportunity to become involved with the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness Services. Students in the learning community are enrolled in common classes, including UNIV 1150: Success Strategies for the Wellness Learning Community. The class meets weekly and is instructed by Eric Smith, director of HPWS. This fun and exciting class focuses on college student health and wellness topics and how they relate to success in college and beyond.
On the first day of class, the participants were asked what Health and Wellness meant to them, why it was important, and what they want to learn about wellness. Their responses are populated below:
