USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture is now requiring training in responsible conduct of research (RCR) for any faculty, staff, or students participating in NIFA research projects.

USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture is now requiring training in responsible conduct of research (RCR) for any faculty, staff, or students participating in NIFA research projects. The training must be documented and is subject to NIFA review. Auburn University has adopted a plan to fulfill the NIFA training requirement.  The requirements of this plan are applicable to all awards subject to the USDA NIFA February 2013 Terms and Conditions or subsequent Terms and Conditions that contain the RCR training requirement. Please note that, in accordance with the NIFA Training Process, all identified project personnel must complete RCR training before a Fund may be established for a NIFA research project.
