There are two methods of recruiting co-op students from the Auburn University Co-Op Program.
In the Spring and Fall Semesters, we conduct Co-Op Interview Day events . . . the preferred method.
Often we have over 100 employers come to campus and conduct 30 minute restaurant-style interviews with each co-op applicant on their interview schedule. For more info, see campus interviewing.
Summer Semester recruiting is handled by way of the AU Co-Op Office emailing co-op applications to interested employers.
The students' credentials (resume, transcript, and approved work/school alternation schedule) are emailed to employers. After reviewing these credentials, employers are encouraged to contact applicants directly for telephone interviews, on-site interviews, job offers, etc.
