The overall mission of the Domestic Violence Intervention Center is to eliminate violence in the lives of women and children. Specifically, the mission of DVIC is to provide direct services, such as shelter, hotline and referrals, to battered women and their children, in times of need in the 5 county areas; and to assist them through counseling and advocacy, in leading violence free lives.
