Access and Community Initiatives Vision 

The Office of Access and Community Initiatives (ACI) seeks to build, improve, and strengthen partnerships between Auburn University and the surrounding community (primarily under-served and underrepresented populations) that exemplifies the ideals of diversity, active learning, and innovation to foster a climate of respect for the free exchange of knowledge and ideas in a diverse, rapidly changing, and increasingly technological global society.

ACI will provide timely responses to community inquiries, develop connections to campus resources, and facilitate partnerships aligned with the educational mission of Auburn University.

Access and Community Initiatives Goals

The Office of Access and Community Initiatives will work to:

  • build and strengthen partnerships with diverse businesses, industry, K-12 schools, civic and community organizations;
  • connect reflective, caring, and highly skilled practitioners and scholars who lead in their chosen professions to support access and community;
  • form partnership with a range of constituents to effect change from the local to national levels and throughout the world.
