The Student Symposium Awards Ceremony was held on April 18th and the top awards for the Evidence-based Practice posters were:

  • 1st Place:  April Young – “Evidence-based Practice for an Asthma Action Plan”
  • 2nd Place: Kimberly Jones – “Enhancing Education to improve Patient Self-management of Heart Failure Symptoms”
  • 3rd Place: Ruth McCullough – “Improved Management of Hypertension with Scheduled Follow-up from the Emergency Department”
