About the Program
The Nursing Student Ambassadors are selected from currently enrolled students at Auburn University. It is a mix of students currently in the professional program and Pre-Nursing students. These ambassadors have the desire to work with faculty, staff, and students. The roles and responsibilities of the Student Ambassadors include providing lab tours, attending recruiting events, assisting our development office, and other various university events and activities.
Ambassadors are chosen through an application process. Applications are available online in the Spring of every year. Emails are sent to notify current Pre-Nursing and current Nursing students that they are available. Selections will be made before the end of Spring semester. Interviews are granted to qualified applicants who are selected through a competitive pre-screening review by a committee of current ambassadors and staff advisors.
Student ambassador terms begin August 1st (Information sessions and Training will be held in May) to July 31st. Keep in mind, ambassadors are require to work some recruiting events over the summer semester.
