The Lovelady Center is a faith-based, 501©3 non-profit organization that currently house 375 women and approx. 110 children. However, it is much more than just a facility; it is a home, a school, a sanctuary, a medical clinic and a refuge. Each day at The Lovelady Center (TLC), women and their children’s lives are transformed as they break free of the bonds of substance abuse, criminal thinking, and cycles of domestic violence, homelessness and poverty. Rather than simply being a shelter, The Lovelady Center offers a 9-12 month program which transforms wounded lives and allows women to follow the path intended by God. Whether her past is stained by abuse, abandonment, or just homelessness, TLC serves as another chance for many women or in some cases, the first chance. You see, TLC’s program is based upon empowerment, hope, and a belief in the value of each human life. It is our mission to help women overcome their adversity so that they can go forward driven by faith, wisdom and solid determination. As a faith-based facility we rely on the faithful support of individuals, churches and business leaders, like you, to continue with our mission and quest to improve the lives of women and children.
