Steps to Receive Accommodations
If you are a current student or have been accepted for an upcoming semester, please complete our basic intake and FERPA forms. To do so, log into AU Access, click on the My Academics tab, find the header Academic Accommodations and Accessibility and choose the Begin the Process for Accommodations link. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at (334) 844-2096.
If you have not yet been accepted, please contact our office at (334) 844-2096 and speak with an Accommodation Specialist regarding your need for accommodations.

- The Office of Accessibility will review your documentation to determine support for accommodations.
- Following the review of your documentation, an email will be sent to your Tigermail account regarding your request and encouraging you to schedule an appointment to meet with an Accommodation Specialist. Typically, documentation is reviewed each Thursday afternoon and cases are discussed on Friday afternoon. Emails are generally sent within two business days after cases have been discussed.
